Programs

Diman-Wolf Early Childhood Center offers multiple programs designed to promote and enhance your child’s growth and development. As always, these programs are filled with discovery and joy as your child works and plays in an environment that is warm, safe and nurturing. 

Programs that are offered at Diman-Wolf Early Childhood Center include:

Head Start Preschool

Great Start Readiness Program

Early Head Start

Playgroup– Currently unavailable due to current COVID health and safety restrictions

Both Head Start and GSRP programs offer high-quality, hands-on preschool experiences. These programs are successful in giving your child experiences that show significant positive developmental differences vs. children who do not attend these programs.

Head Start

Head Start Preschool is a federally-funded child development/ preschool program serving low- income children and families. Head start is available to qualifying children who are 3 on or before December 1st 2021

Great start readiness program

Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is a state-funded child development/ preschool program available to qualifying children who are 4 on or before December 1st 2021.

Early head start

Early Head Start (EHS) is a federally-funded community based program for low-income families with infants, toddlers and pregnant women. EHS provides year round services in the home to pregnant women and families that have children under the age of 3

These core principles include providing early learning opportunities, parent involvement, high-quality comprehensive experiences, and supporting a nurturing learning environment both at home and at school.
