We are thrilled to announce that our very own Ms. Kelli Gross, 1st grade teacher at Spitler Elementary, has been honored with the 2024 Distinguished Educator Award from United Way of the Lakeshore! This prestigious award recognizes exemplary teachers in Oceana, Muskegon, and Newaygo counties.
As part of this recognition, Ms. Gross received boxes of school supplies for her classroom through United Way of the Lakeshore's "Stuff the Bus" campaign, a certificate of achievement, and an Amazon gift card.
Superintendent Mark Platt shared his pride, stating, "Kelli Gross is a phenomenal teacher and so deserving of this award.
